Tech Tip: Word Counter for Chrome

A very helpful tool I found was the Chrome extension called word count tool. This tool is useful when writing the blogs and seeing how many words you are at instead of having to transfer your work onto a Word document. Personally, I tend to write less so this tool helped me meet the minimum word requirement. It can also help you know if you need to shorten some of your writing. Plus, this extension is very easy to install! First thing, go to this Chrome page to install the extension ( link ). After installing the tool, highlight some random text and right click on the mouse. You should see the word count tool option. After clicking on it, a pop up box will appear telling you the number of words. Hope this tool is useful for you!

Technology Tools

For this class, I'm quite impressed with all the different types of tools and software we will be using. In most my previous online classes, we did not use many of these tools, so I think it will be fun to utilize the various tools for an assignment. Some of these tools are not new to me like bookmarking, image editing, or Google Docs because I have used them before in previous classes or assignments. However, I am new to blogging so it will be interesting to use these different tools for my blog and learning how they can help me. I'm still learning how to blog, so hopefully I get better at it! Reading Notes: More Jataka Tales, Part A

The Cunning Wolf Some people had no more food left for dinner, so a man volunteered to go get more meat for dinner with his club. He lays next to a watering hole and pretending to be dead, so when an animals comes he can surprise attack him. A bunch of animals noticed him and watched him for a while. The king of the wolves decides to go check out if the man is really dead, so he tells the others to wait.  The king wolf slightly tugs on the man's club, and instantly the man kind of pulls the club back. The wolf realizing the man is not dead and tried to fool the animals that he was dead. Luckily, the man misses when he threw the club at the wolf and noticed that they were no animals near by.
